Overpriced They charged me £90 for poor quality grooming.

I took my dog here for the 1st time yesterday and can say without doubt it is the best groom he has ever had. I got exactly what i asked for,(and it must have been a mission as previous groomer had let me down several times) he is usually awful with his feet being trimmed but he came back perfect i did not have to try and snip any long bits off. I cant begin to say how happy i am, also he seemed happy and unstressed when i picked him up I will not be going anywhere else Thank you

My mother has been using A-Z Animal Care for many years now, they provide a great service, her dogs always come back smelling clean, fresh and looking superb after a hair cut. Her dogs never get stressed out being dropped off there, that is good sign that they are being treated well and looked after. A-Z Animal Care are competitively priced and offer a wide range of services. They are following the current Covid 19 guidelines to the letter. Professional, friendly business and we highly recommend them.

We took our Saluki who was in desperate need of a tidy up to A-Z as our usual groomer is poorly. She was quite fluffy with her feathers overlong. We requested that the fluffy coat be removed and the feathers tidied up. The first time we went to collect her it didn’t look like she had been groomed at all but they were more than happy to do her again. We she was handed over the second time a complete hatchet job had been done to her chest, legs and feathers almost down to the skin. I was too shocked to say anything at the time and really what could I say, they had already been paid.

I was utterly disgusted by the receptionist who made me feel like a neglectful owner. I gave reasons as to why my dog hadn’t had a proper groom for a while, I.e my dad died in March and our other groomer ghosted us because we cancelled last minute. I trusted A-Z but feel utterly let down, for £80 I don’t expect to be treated like that and told my dog ‘might be able to turn a corner’ – plus his ears weren’t cleaned! He didn’t cost that much after lockdown! Maybe you should get proper training for your receptionists who can hopefully ‘turn a corner’ with their attitude. *In response to A-Z’s comment: First of all you clearly don’t listen to your clients, you were the 3rd groomer my dog had been to in his 5-year life so far. Secondly, compassion, decency and politeness goes a long way and clearly this company has none of those things. If my aunt was harsh when she called it was because she was appalled at the way you treated her bereaved niece. As you have CCTV that records audio and video you will be able to go back and hear how your receptionist spoke to me. You will also see and hear that I was in no way aggressive. I said that I had cleaned my dogs ears recently and they should be fine but a brief look would make sense as you claim to be such ‘caring’ groomers.

I have brought my dog to here since we got her in 2015,apart from my 2 years in Ethiopia. I have always been impressed with Bella’s grooming and the advice given by all members of staff. They even taught me some grooming techniques Sonu could groom my pooch in Ethiopia. How we are back in the UK we still came back to A – Z in spite of the fact I don’t live near them anymore. This last visit I had Bella’s teeth clean for the first time and have come away very impressed. I cannot sing the praises of Emma and her team enough.
