For your pet’s safety and well-being the team is led by Emma Betts, a Qualified Veterinary Nurse listed at The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, (RCVS) with over 20 years experience of caring for animals, including a spell as head nurse of a large practice. She is a professionally trained dog and cat groomer and an approved instructor / A1 Assessor in Animal Care and Grooming.

They even taught me some grooming techniques Sonu could groom my pooch in Ethiopia. How we are back in the UK we still came back to A – Z in spite of the fact I don’t live near them anymore. This last visit I had Bella’s teeth clean for the first time and have come away very impressed. I cannot sing the praises of Emma and her team enough.

I’ve been taking my miniature schnauzer to A-Z Animal Care for over 5 years. Girls doing amazing job every time. Pooch is getting a lot of compliments the way he’s groomed. Very smart and those eyebrows and beard. Would highly recommend to everyone who is looking for good and friendly grooming experience for their pets.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Pixie enjoys coming to have her nails trimmed. Something which my vet’s were unable to do. Thoroughly recommend, they are amazing with dogs. 😊

We have been going here for many years. We generally get a good service, they do what we ask and our dog is well looked after. Always well groomed and I feel safe leaving him there knowing his health conditions will be considered. I do recommend A-Z to anyone considering them.

I was utterly disgusted by the receptionist who made me feel like a neglectful owner. I gave reasons as to why my dog hadn’t had a proper groom for a while, I.e my dad died in March and our other groomer ghosted us because we cancelled last minute. I trusted A-Z but feel utterly let down, for £80 I don’t expect to be treated like that and told my dog ‘might be able to turn a corner’ – plus his ears weren’t cleaned! He didn’t cost that much after lockdown! Maybe you should get proper training for your receptionists who can hopefully ‘turn a corner’ with their attitude. *In response to A-Z’s comment: First of all you clearly don’t listen to your clients, you were the 3rd groomer my dog had been to in his 5-year life so far. Secondly, compassion, decency and politeness goes a long way and clearly this company has none of those things. If my aunt was harsh when she called it was because she was appalled at the way you treated her bereaved niece. As you have CCTV that records audio and video you will be able to go back and hear how your receptionist spoke to me. You will also see and hear that I was in no way aggressive. I said that I had cleaned my dogs ears recently and they should be fine but a brief look would make sense as you claim to be such ‘caring’ groomers.

I highly recommend A-Z Animal Care Emma & her team are professional, knowledgable, caring and above all offer our pets a top quality experience. I took my dog to have his nails cut.. not an easy job for a 35kg of muscle as he hates it! I’ve tried so many times and even my vets couldn’t manage it. But these lovely ladies manage to do the job perfectly. He’s a happy boy now. We will see you soon…💕
