EMMA
Our founder, team leader and practice manager Emma is an avid animal lover, with five dogs, two cats, three guinea pigs, a clutch of chickens and a horse! She is a Veterinary Nurse with extensive experience in animal care in a career spanning over 20 years. She spent much of this time working in veterinary practices in the local area.
However, in 2005 A-Z was born out of Emma’s desire to be her own boss, and she made the move from Veterinary Nursing to professional animal grooming. The founder of A-Z, Emma started out as a mobile groomer in 2005 but quickly acquired the Grooming Centre at our current location and has gone about establishing our business within the local community. She has built a skilled and reliable team around her to ensure that at A-Z we provide you with the best possible services for your pet.
Emma holds an OCN Level 3 Diploma in Grooming, a Microchip Implanter’s certificate and is currently studying towards a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
KATIE
Describing her role with us as the best job she has ever had, Katie has loved her four years at A-Z. Everyday presents a unique challenge and she finds enormous fun in the variety of animal personalities she works with. Katie is our resident teeth-cleaning expert and likes nothing better than restoring a set of dirty doggy gnashers back to pearly whites.
With three cats, two dogs and two horses at home, Katie’s rural idyll is the stuff of dreams, and the big open sky means she is in the perfect place to indulge in her other love – plane spotting! Katie holds a Level 2 diploma in Animal Care and Dog Grooming as well as a diploma in Animal Psychology.
MORGAN
Morgan has been with A-Z for three years. She was drawn to the job through her love of animals – at home she has two dogs, two cats and a parrot – and she loves meeting the variety of pets she works with each day. Starting off working at weekends whilst still at school, Morgan then joined the centre full time once she finished her education. She has continued training with the support of A-Z and now holds an Animal Care NVQ level 2 certification and her natural talent with animals and tenacity for learning new things means that she is now taking on a more senior role at the centre.
